If you brush and floss conscientiously, and bad breath is still a problem, it could be that bacteria that produces sulphur compounds are still finding a place to hide (Don’t forget to brush your tongue too). Sometimes overcrowded or crooked teeth make it difficult or impossible to floss an area or old dental work like fillings, bridges or crowns may not be properly sealed, thereby allowing bacteria in between. Just because it does not hurt does not mean it isn’t compromised. Some health conditions can also affect bad breath. Conditions such as diabetes, enlarged or infected tonsils, or even draining sinuses could be an important factor. If you suspect this, check this out with your physician.
